The brothers who have directed and produced four short films including their first film, Boxing Day that was screened at Cannes and Edinburgh Film Festivals.
How You Can Help
Their new project, The Knock, is an independent film by Cubeink Productions and is in need of funding. The Knock’s original target was £9000 and doesn’t have far to go to complete target with £3500 to go and eighteen days to meet the total. The Knock is asking all film lovers to pledge as little as a pound to get the project up and running. Some pledges come with incentives such as free cinema tickets to see Star Trek Into Darkness and if you pledge over £70 you get to the chance to win postproduction training with BBC trained directors.

Synopsis
It’s 2078 and the world’s population has spiralled out of control to the point where the earth can no longer sustain its vast numbers. Ten years before the crisis all governments in the world had agreed to form the Department of Population Control (The DPC) in an attempt to ward off the impending overcrowding.
The DPC formulated and passed a law to control the world’s population. The population order stated that every human on the planet carried a microchip which contained their unique number. Every week all numbers will be run through a lottery and a certain number will be called. If your number comes up you are sent to the culling camp to be killed. If you tried to escape or run the microchip would be activated and you would instantly die, plus two members of your closest family would be sent to the culling camp.
The story focuses more closely on slang term ‘The Knockers' given to the DPC men employed to deliver the culling order to those unlucky chosen.
The story focuses on Agent Stanley Teal, a drained and lonely man on the edge of retirement, Stanley has no family or friends—he is, emotionally, a zombie who has long since given up on his failed dreams, he is the perfect type of person to deliver the death notices. One day, someone from Stanley’s past re-enters his life. What they tell him changes his entire outlook on his life and his reason for living, something he had long forgotten. Stanley is forced to ask, what would he sacrifice his life for?

The Knock is a tale of morality in the darkest of times, and to portray this story the film stars actor Alex Claus from West London. The actor has roles in the up and coming Hollywood movies Red 2 and Rush he has also made an appearance in Clash of the Titans.
