Looking for the perfect gift for a friend, loved one or even a cheeky one for yourself, but not keen to break the bank? I’ve got you covered, with my top beauty sets for under £20.

Soap & Glory Poptastic | £12.00

You can’t go wrong with a Soap & Glory gift set, you really can’t. They vary in price from usually around £5-£30, but luckily for those on a budget, the smaller end of the scale has a lot to offer.

My favourite design at the moment is their Poptastic set, which is an exclusive collaboration with designer Philip Colbert. Much like Colbert’s bold, punky style, the zipped wash bag is gorgeous! Inside you’ll find a full sized bottle of Soap & Glory’s new Original Pink body spray (which smells so good it makes me hungry) and a selection of fab minis from their ever-popular Original Pink scented collection: Clean On Me shower gel, Hand Food hand cream, The Scrub Of Your Life body scrub, The Righteous Butter body butter and Heel Genius foot cream.

This is an online exclusive and sure to sell out fast, so get your orders in quickly!

Seventeen Pop Pink | £15.00

Another set which certainly doesn’t disappoint visually is Seventeen’s Pop Pink. For any girly girl this is surely the perfect gift, with each item being a different shade of arguably the girliest colour, pink!

These luscious lips contain everything you’ll need to stand out a Christmas party and would definitely be a nice surprise to unwrap. Each set holds a full size Cheek Stamp blusher, Lip CrayonSkin Wow Highlighter and Gel Nail Colour. These items all together usually come to just over £20, so grab yourself a bargain.

Nais Inc. NailKale Polish Baby Kale Collection | £19.00

I’m obsessed with Nail Inc’s Baby Kale colours, so with a three-piece mini set available for just under £20 there’s no way they wouldn’t be getting a mention here. The shades are absolutely beautiful and whilst they’re not really the most festive, they’re perfect for the New Year.

The NailKale collection is the first range which has been formulated with actual Kale, which work as an anti-oxidant and nourishes, protects and strengthens your nails with each application. This set includes a Superfood base coat, Bright Street illuminator and St John’s Wood Gardens fresh pink Nailkale varnish.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Contour Palette | £8.00

2015 has been the year of the contour. We’re obsessed with it. So if you’re after a cheap, yet effective contouring kit, look no further than Makeup Revolution’s Ultra Contour Palette

At just £8.00 this contains all the highlighting, bronzing and blush shades you’ll need to go into blending overload. The palette comes complete with a trusty mirror to help with any applications or touch ups on the go.

Soap & Glory Belle of the Ball | £12.00

Another Soap & Glory item, which I just couldn’t resist to feature here is their Belle of the Ball set. Shaped as a bauble, it is absolutely perfect as a gift for Christmas and again at £12.00 certainly doesn’t do your budget much harm. (Although I wouldn’t be hanging this from any tree, its pretty heavy!)

Inside are minis from their Smoothie Star collection, which smells insane as they’re all scented with almond, pistachio and vanilla. The list consists of: Smoothie Star body wash, Breakfast Scrub body smoother, Hand Food hand cream and a cute pink body polisher to finish off the lineup.

Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette | £4.00

You or a loved one might be pining after an Urban Decay palette this year, but lets face it, they are very pricey! Makeup Revolution have some equally gorgeous palettes on offer this festive season for just a fraction of the price.

Their Redemption palette in shade Essential Mattes 2 is my favourite as the colours are to die for. (They also happen to very similar to Urban Decay’s Naked Palette 2, RRP £38.00!) The matte finish creates the perfect smoky eye for a night out and also helps work towards a more natural day to day look.

Topshop Christmas Lip Bullet Duo | £10.00

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a bit of red lippy and this duo from Topshop has been designed specifically for the festive season. Available in a limited edition gift box and fit with their own glittery touch, these two mini lip bullets are the perfect shades for a kiss under the mistletoe or coordinating with a Christmas jumper.

Tamed is a creamy nude shade, which works perfectly for a more natural look, whereas Joyride is a fierce red, which certainly makes a festive statement. Being bullets, they’re so easy to apply too!

Opi All Stars Holiday Collection (Mini Pack) | £14.50

Finally, another nail set, this time from the gods of nail care OPI. If you’re looking for long lasting, thick, luxurious colours, then OPI is where its at.

This set features four of their All Stars shades in a mini form. Each shade works expertly for the Christmas party season. You’ve got the bright red of Love is in My Cards, the deep red of Guys & Galaxies, a bright silver in Is This Star Taken? and my personal favourite, the aluminum tones of Press * for Silver. At just £14.50 for all four, this set is great value for money and would make a lovely gift or addition to any nail varnish collection.

So there’s my top selection of gifts for the ladies in your life, which all happen to be under £20. Have I missed any bargains? Or have you bought any of these sets already? Let me know in the comments below.
