The announcement read, ‘The engagement is announced between Tom, son of Robert and Debra Daley of Plymouth, and Lance, son of Jeff Bisch of Philadelphia and Anne Bisch of Lake Providence.’
The Olympic medal winner first went public with his sexuality, and relationship with Black, in 2013, taking to Youtube he explained:

While Daley is an Olympic medal winning diver, Black is an American fim-maker and a prominent LGBT rights activist. In 2008 he won a Writers Guild of America Award and an Academy Award for the biographical film Milk, a film that looks at the life of gay rights activist Harvey Milk.
Black grew up in a Morman family and when growing up he was inspired by the story of Harvey Milk, something which he noted in the speech he gave after reciving his Oscar.
In his speech, calling for greater acceptance of LGBT people, he said:
‘When I was 13 years old, my beautiful mother and my father moved me from a conservative Mormon home in San Antonio, Texas, to California, and I heard the story of Harvey Milk.
And it gave me hope. It gave me the hope to live my life. It gave me the hope one day I could live my life openly as who I am and that maybe even I could even fall in love and one day get married.
I want to thank my mum, who has always loved me for who I am even when there was pressure not to.’
Congratulations to Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black, you both deserve all the happiness that comes your way!
