The Slam Dunk Festival is a little over a month away and we’re already ready to kick off the festival season! With so many bands spread across the stages and clashes galore it’s trick to even know where to begin with picking who to check out.
That’s what we’re here for! We’ve selected our top 10 bands and artists we think you should absolutely have on your list for Slam Dunk 2018.
Pvris
We were SO excited to see Pvris added to the Slam Dunk line up for 2018. Lynn’s incredible vocals & riffs galore are sure to go down a storm across all 3 venues. We cannot wait.
Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes
Easily one of the best live bands on the circuit right now. If you don’t go and see Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes then you may as well not bother going to Slam Dunk. Seriously, trust us.
State Champs
Pop punk is alive and well, and New York band State Champs have got all the pop punk summer vibes you need. We’ve got all our fingers crossed for sunshine to bop along to the bands infectious music in.
Can’t Swim
They may appear in tiny font on the line up poster, but they’re easily already one of our highlights of the festival. With an album that received praise left, right and centre there is sure to be a big audience for Can’t Swim, and if there isn’t, people are missing out. We’ll be there for sure.
Rob Lynch
Slam Dunk’s Acoustic stage is a real highlight of the festival and this year the festival has once again secured a cracking line up. We fully welcome the return of Rob Lynch and can’t wait for him to hit us right in the feels.
The Skints
Wherever The Skints go, they draw in a huge crowd & we expect Slam Dunk to be no different. They’ve just got something that keeps people coming back, so if you’re after some punk reggae vibe – head on down.
Astroid Boys
Astroid Boys are a band that are simply just real good fun. Who doesn’t love a mix of punk rock, hardcore punk and grime music? Anyone who says they don’t is a liar. Get on down for an absolute treat of a performance.
Creeper
Creeper are a band that go from strength to strength. With loyal fans flocking to see the band over and over, we imagine the Creeper Cult will be present across all 3 Slam Dunk venues. Their performance is sure to be one of the most popular of the festival.
Northlane
Metalcore has slowly been making its presence known at Slam Dunk across the last couple of years and it seems 2018 is no different. Northlane are one of the most exciting metalcore bands around right now and we’ll be making sure we’ll be catching their performance.
Every Time I Die
Are you really going to miss the opportunity to see Every Time I Die? Really?
Who are you looking forward to seeing at Slam Dunk 2018?
