Nigerian born Nollywood actress and producer Nse Ikpe-Etim has taken to mastering another industry; the beauty industry. She has launched a brand new and innovative hair, fragrance and skincare range. Her range of products include natural oils and butters to which Ikpe-Etim says she has always used in favour of expensive items.
After being asked over the years about her hair and facial care she decided to hone in on her own knowledge and begin the process of garnering organically grown African butters such as Shea Butter which can be found in abundance in Ghana. She says “Through Eden’s Theory we want to share these natural beauty secrets with the world.” Eden’s Theory products are both vegan and can be used all over the hair and body – fragrances are also available under this brand.

Eden’s Theory, which Ikpe-Etim owns in conjunction with a UK company and she has also partnered with film maker Victoria Thomas was a finalist in the Harrow Business Den 2016. A tech forward thinking addition to the process of ordering your product online is the option to also customize your own fragrance by choosing exactly which items you would like to be included within your perfume.
She has also created one of the most ethical beauty products to launch of late as she has assured her customers that African co-operatives will be used to obtain oils like Mafura and Marula. The product comes in a sleek and simple design.
