What is Bicester Village? You’ve probably heard the name as you walked past a designer shop in London, or on the CrossCountry train to Manchester, but never really knew what it’s all about. There’s no need to feel bad, we fashionistas can’t really keep up with all that’s happening in this wonderful world. Without any further ado let’s see what this place is and why we should make a trip there…
What is it?
Bicester Village is one of the many villages part of the Chic Outlet Shopping chain, a collection which offers luxury brands, an open-air village setting, an extraordinary and welcoming experience and what we’re all interested in… great sales. The village is located near Oxford, just an hour away from London and is home to more than 100 boutiques of internationally known brands such as Chanel, Dior, Prada, Valentino, Chloe and many more.
The company behind this is named Value Retail and aims to expand the shopping market and bring more luxury items to fashion enthusiasts at substantially reduced prices (up to 60% discounts).
The chain names other villages in Dublin, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Brussels, Milan, Bologna, Barcelona, Madrid, Suzhou and Shanghai.
Why
While it may seem like the perfect day trip here, Bicester Village is offering a much more intriguing and unique experience. Amongst the designer shops, visitors can have a walk around Oxford and visit the local attractions. Services extend to fine dining, shopping packages and chauffeur drives. More importantly, the sales are up to 60% every year on all designer clothing and accessories. And if that’s not a good enough reason to go, then what is?

When
At the recommendation of other bloggers and fashion connoisseurs we also think the perfect time to go to Bicester Village is at the beginning of every year. The January sales are not to be missed and it’s predicted that Bicester Village will have the best of the best in terms of fashion.
Whether it’s out of pure curiosity, or because you’ve got yourself some extra money after the holidays, visiting Bicester Village is a fun, enjoyable experience. After all, who doesn’t love a bit of shopping?
