Two armed men took a priest and four victims hostage during mass this morning in northern France.
The attack led to the the armed men slitting the throat of the elderly priest, Father Jacques Hamel, before being shot by French poilce.
ISIS have claimed responsbility for the attack according to the French President, and one man has been named as Adel K who is believed to have been known to the French police.
