Finding the perfect eye cream

Do you struggle to find new products? You’re not the only one. Nowadays there are so many different beauty cream products on the shelves, that when it comes to finding something new I always seem to struggle.

I’ve fallen in love with No7’s facial cream which I have already featured in a previous post but I am still on the hunt for that perfect eye cream.

Over two weeks I have tried out two different creams to see which (if any) I like best. I’ve compared Soap & Glory’s Make Yourself Youthful Rejuvenating Eye Cream and of course, another No7 product – their Youthful Eye Serum.

Both products smell lush and only a small amount is needed to cover the space under my eyes. Having said that, I’ve found that I do use more of the No7 Serum which could be seen as a negative – or a positive for how easy it is to use! The little nozzle makes applying much simpler compared to a tub.

The shape and size of the No7 Serum also makes it’s easy to slip into a travel make up bag and use when needed on the go. Soap & Glory’s packaging in comparison is much prettier and looks so cute. But we do need to remember that the product itself is what’s important here!

On the basis of price, I do think that the No7 Serum is a little over-priced for the size of the bottle, at £19.50 for 15ml. Soap & Glory’s Eye Cream isn’t that cheap either, at £14.00 for 15ml, but with both products being available from Boots there are a number of deals available to make it less expensive for you. Right now for example they have a Buy 1 get 2nd Half Price offer on selected Soap & Glory products.

So which is better? I’m still deciding which I prefer but what do you think? Let me know what you’re using in the comments below.
