Fat Lip Festival is back for year 2 and we couldn’t be more excited!
The Bristol alternative music festival takes over The Lanes plus new venue SWX PLUS Rough Trade for a full day of loud music and great bands; but who on this incredible line up should you go & see?
Here at Kettle we’ve got it covered. Here’s our run down of the top 5 bands not to miss at Fat Lip 2018
Black Peaks
We can’t get enough of Black Peaks and it seems neither can anyone else. The band are going from strength to strength and their set in SWX is sure to be a highlight of the festival. We don’t need to use anymore words, just make sure they make it on to your must see list without a second thought.
Astroid Boys
If their Slam Dunk set is anything to go by then Fat Lip attendees are in for a treat. Who doesn’t love a bit of rap combined with rock? If you think you don’t, then you’re wrong. With Hacktavist also on the line up this year and some sunshine predicted – what a way to spend a Saturday!
Bad Sign
When we saw Bad Sign were added to the Fat Lip line up, we were sold. The band have got everything you want in a rock band; solid guitar riffs and loud ones at that. This festival slot is even more special as the band will be performing an acoustic set which is sure to be a real treat and one we don’t think you should miss.
Luke Rainsford
Luke has been popping up across the festival circuit this summer and people are falling in love all over the place. He’ll be taking to the Rough Trade stage at Fat Lip 2018. Make sure you head along to check him out.
Mallory Knox
Headling Fat Lip this year is Mallory Knox. Now a four piece the band recently put on a crowd pleasing show at 2000 Trees Festival full of hits old and furture ones. They’re on top form right now and we can’t wait to see them tear up SWX.
