1. I have been one of many who grew up in the “Potter generation.” So being able to read the story after Hogwarts is something I have always wanted to do.

2. One of the most hotly anticipated books and plays of all time, with so much excitement brewing around it, who doesn’t want to pick up a copy?

3. J.K. Rowling recently said that this would be the last of Harry Potter, making it even more important to see how the story truly ends for the Golden Trio.

4. With four and a bit stars on Goodreads rating system before it had even been officially released; I have to know how it is going to go.

5. The book of the play is essentially the next best thing if you don’t get the chance to go and see the play in London.

6. There is the hope that this play will answer any fan theories and questions that have been lingering since the final book was published.

7. The development of the main characters. Does Harry get rid of the intense fame of being the one that beat Lord Voldemort? Is Hermione still a know it all? Does Ron still use magic to help him drive? All questions that need answering really.

8. I think I also want to read it to see the development of some of the other characters, like Draco Malfoy, especially now that he is a family man.

9. I loved the fact that little Albus Potter had the potential of being put in Slytherin and I would like to see how he develops as one of the main characters of this play.

10. If this is truly the final time we’ll see Harry and his friends, then I think it is a must-read, and I’m ready to devour the final chapter of Harry Potter.
