Fashion, drama, intense head turning hotness and stunning beautiful creation of art, gliding down a red carpet runway has always been the standard for the Emmy’s. Let’s see if the 2015 67th Emmy award lives up to and continues in that tradition.

Emmy’s 2015 – Bring it

I decided to share a rundown of my top ten favorite looks from the 67th Emmys red carpet moments. Along with some personal opinionated commentary on my not so favorable looks, as well as everything in between.   We all know the saying sharing is caring so here goes in no particular order.

Enters the statuesque Heidi Klum host from the show Project Runway, in a canary yellow floor length Versace gown and as always she looked effortlessly beautiful, and came extremely close to being in my top ten favorite head turners of the Emmy red carpet.

Tarji P Henson from the show Empire is fearless like her on screen character Cookie, which could clearly be seen in her choice for the Emmys, she wore a in black floor length see through gown by designer Alexandra Wang but unfortunately it did not make my top ten list of show stoppers.

My first nominee for who I felt deserved to be in my top ten Emmy looks for the night, was actress Jamie Alexander who arrived on the red carpet wearing a sequence floor length gown that had a collision of colors, marinating perfectly together. This creation she wore had no frills, lace or ruffles it was a simple piece that very strong. Whoever fitted and connected her with that Armani Prive piece bravo.

Padma Lakshmi the host from the show Top Chef, wore a Romona Keveza green off the strapless satin floor length form fitting dress, her body gave that dress life curves in all the right places trust me her body bought all the drama that dress could handle.

Still waiting for the fireworks

My second nominee for my top ten draw dropping outfits worn to the 67th annual Emmys was worn by; Actress Yael Stone from the successful Netflix show Orange is the new black. This gown was a pale pink mesh type fabric with fitted bodice a floor length gown with gorgeous layers and undeniable detail and craftsmanship, a unique piece that bought the drama to the red carpet Emmys channeling old school Hollywood.

My third nominee for best red carpet Emmys outfit was actress Alison Janney in a La Bourjoise black sequence and mesh see through dress. I felt like she was channeling Jessica rabbit, sexy strong and confident with her perfect side swept hair bringing the whole look together.

Side bar one of the E.News hosts mentioned that Mad Men actress Elizabeth Moss was making a huge statement when she arrived in an Oscar De La Renta Gown.  There is no doubt in my mind that this gown was excellently made with superb crafts man-ship.  This was a bold pink gown however that I’m afraid is where this dress begins and where it ends. It reminded me of a huge tent, this piece was not a game changer.  So to E. News host stops ass kissing.

This will all be a blur by the end of the week

Angela Basset from the show American Horror Story and countless other movies looked beautiful in an abstract black and white gown. Question does this woman age? And speaking of another fly actress Tracey Ellis Ross fashions non conformist that marches to the beat of her own drum, did not disappoint in a strapless peach vintage inspired Zac Posen dress.

My fourth best dressed contender is Kerry Washington, who wore a mesh and sequence Marc Jacobs dress.   This dress contains phenomenal detail and was silver with an ambre effect gold color at the bottom of the dress, a definite stunner.

My fifth best top ten outfits was worn by Jane Krakowski a grey pale pink and black gown, this dress was stunning and fabulous, an old school feel with a new school twist that went together comfortably and naturally.   This dress is what the Emmy’s red carpet is all about.

She did not make my best dress top ten list but shout out to Actress Laura Prepon, from the Netflix show Orange Is the New Black, who wore a Christian Siriano gown looking like an elegant hot and sexy Spanish senorita.

Finally before you all start saying” that was only five of the top ten where are the rest”. My response is you want me to be brutally honest and remain authentic in my view then that is what I am sharing.   I think many of the red carpet offerings lacked that draw dropping, head turning fashion forward wow moment, so I’m afraid I can only offer you five.   Maybe you guys can check out the fashions for the Emmys and let me know if you agree, disagree or would add or take away from my list.  Hopefully 2016 will allow me to complete the entire ten
