It’s not unusual for celebrities to pair up with internationally known fashion brands and launch clothing and shoe lines. But Rihanna didn’t seem to stop after her first collaboration with River Island in 2013 and the world was shocked with pleasure.

In 2014 Rihanna receives the Fashion Icon Award at the American Council of Fashion Designers Awards. She said: “Fashion has always been my defense mechanism.” The pop queen received immense recognition and managed to achieve her successful career with an even more successful fashion debut.

At the end of the same year, Rihanna stepped on as the new creative director of Puma. We’ve all seen and envied her stylish choices when it comes to sportswear and this was a dream come true for the sporty enthusiasts amongst us. Together with her team she brought out some iconic pieces.

Rihanna became the face of Dior in 2015 making her the first black woman to represent the brand. Enjoying her popularity she partnered with Stance and the famous Manolo Blahnik. Their signature boots are still seen as a statement piece and only the daring ones are making that choice.

With regard to her partnership with PUMA, the brand has embraced the her style and launched several collections. Amongst them is a rather statement item, Rihanna designed what’s know as the creeper, a trainer with a thicker sole. Everybody loved this controversial shoe and sales went through the roof selling out quickly.
