Stepladder Worldwide, an initiative helping young people channel their passions, have officially launched a new recruitment campaign, focusing on the creative industries.

Those aspiring towards a career in Events, Music, Fashion, Journalism, Film or Broadcast, aged 16-30 and from any academic or personal background are welcome to take part in the opportunities they are offering.

Following a rebrand earlier this year, this is a significant expansion of Stepladder Worldwide which was already an addition to the youth arm of International Production House ‘TLF Worldwide – The LIVE Firm’.

Launched in 2008, Stepladder is a youth development programme that has won ‘Innovation of the Year’ and Youth Led Employee of the Year awards. They specialise in event management and offering advice and opportunities for young people.

Some of their previous projects include women’s rights initiative, Chime for Change, MTV Brand New and the Hyde Park BST Festival, where 25 people worked in VIP Hosting.

They currently have offices in London, Sydney and Singapore but support young people around the world. In 2013, over 250 people were helped by their services while 100 people were placed into work.

Stepladder Worldwide Project Manager, Lucy Watson, who speaks at Universities nationwide, highlights the accessibility of their programmes.

‘We provide guidance to people from a wide range of backgrounds, from candidates with experience and degrees to those from more disadvantaged backgrounds.’
